The Barn
The Barn is in Burgh le Marsh, Lincolnshire. It's part of a group of cottages called Jockhedge. They're set in 25 acres of your own parkland.
The cottage sleeps three in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-finished. It's all on the ground floor. You can get in the front and there's a back door out into the Rose courtyard.
It's open plan, so the living area and kitchen are in one room. There's electric heating for background and a gas fire to get it properly warm. It's a clean, tidy space.
The bedrooms are what you'd expect: comfortable beds, wardrobe space. Fine for a good night's sleep.
There's a shared hot tub on site. You have to book slots with the owner for that, so it's not always available.
You're allowed two dogs. They'll like the space to run around in.
For facilities, you've got a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and bedding and towels are included. There's onsite parking. You have a private garden area.
Burgh le Marsh is a quiet village. There are a couple of pubs you can walk to. Skegness is about five miles away if you want the seaside.
Within 30 minutes you can get to Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve, which is good for birdwatching and walks. The Lincolnshire Wolds are about a 25 minute drive inland. Boston is about 20 minutes south.
