Orby Hall Studio 5
This is Orby Hall Studio 5. It's one of a dozen new studio apartments in a converted hall near Orby village, in Lincolnshire. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well put together and comfortable.
The studio sleeps two. It's all one open-plan room with a kitchen area, a bed, and a seating space. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Because it's on the ground floor, and the entrance and shower are level, it works if you have mobility issues or use a wheelchair. There's a patio area outside and your own parking spot right by the door.
The hall is out in the fields. There are footpaths straight from the property into the countryside for walks. The village pub is about a mile away, which is a pleasant stroll down the lane. It does food.
You're about seven miles from Skegness if you want the seaside. For a much quieter bit of coast, Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve is close by. It's good for birdwatching.
Inland, the Lincolnshire Wolds are about half an hour's drive. It's nice for scenery and driving through the villages. The National Trust's Gunby Hall and Gardens is also nearby.
Facilities are what you'd expect: TV, WiFi, bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine on site for guests to share. On-site parking. No pets.
