Cherry

The cottage is called Cherry. It's in Burgh le Marsh, Lincolnshire. It's a quiet village, not on the coast itself. You've got fields around you, and a fishing lake at the bottom of the garden.

It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything you need is there. The stairs are fine, standard for a cottage.

The garden is enclosed and private. It leads down to that lake I mentioned. You can sit out there. You can bring one dog. There's parking right there for you.

Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a TV, WiFi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.

The village has a couple of shops and pubs you can walk to. Skegness is about five miles away if you want the beach and the amusements. For a different sort of day, Gibralter Point nature reserve is nearby. The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust has details.

Further afield, you've got Lincoln about 25 miles to the southwest. The cathedral is worth seeing. Boston is about 15 miles south. The coastline all along here is good for walking and birdwatching. The Visit Lincolnshire site has more ideas.

It's a straightforward place. Quiet, comfortable, with the coast and the countryside both easy to get to.
