Orby Hall Studio 11
This is the Orby Hall Studio number 11. It’s one of twelve new studios on site, all built to the same standard. They’re in two blocks facing each other, one ground floor, one first floor. This one is on the first floor.
It’s a studio, so it’s all one room. The kitchen area is at one end and the bed is at the other. The shower room is separate. It’s modern and clean. The rating is four star, which is right. It’s a good, comfortable space for two people but it’s not a huge apartment. You’ve got a little patio area outside.
The site is just outside Orby village. There’s a pub called the New Dun Cow about a mile down the road. It does food and it’s fine. From here you can walk straight out into the fields on footpaths.
Skegness is seven miles east if you want the seaside. To the south, Gibraltar Point is worth a visit. It’s a good nature reserve. You can find details on the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust site.
Gunby Hall is about a twenty minute drive. It’s a National Trust house with nice gardens. Their page is here. The Lincolnshire Wolds are about half an hour away if you want to go for a drive in the hills.
Facilities: it has parking, WiFi, a TV, and all the bedding and towels are included. There’s a walk-in shower. No pets.
