A good local walk is out to Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. You can get there along the beach. Fantasy Island theme park is about a ten minute drive away, just past Ingoldmells.
The facilities are what you'd expect: TV, included bedding and towels, that sort of thing. There's no private parking, but you can park in the nearby public car parks.
If you're after a simple base right in the middle of everything in Skegness, this is it.
