Sunrise Cove
This is Sunrise Cove. It's a ground-floor apartment in Primrose Valley, part of The Bay holiday village near Filey.
It sleeps four, but it's one bedroom. That's because the sofa in the living area is a sofa bed. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's modern and comfortable. We take up to two dogs.
The apartment is all on one level. You park right outside. Inside it's open plan, so the kitchen, living and dining area are all together. It has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Everything is included, bedding and towels too.
The beach is very close, just a couple of minutes' walk. The village itself has everything on site: a shop, a restaurant and bar, a kids' play area, and an indoor heated pool with a gym. There's also tennis and other sports.
Filey is a few minutes down the road, and Bridlington is a short drive the other way. The RSPB Bempton Cliffs are about a 15-minute drive for the seabirds. The Flamborough Head area is good for coastal walks.
For a day out, you can be in the North York Moors National Park in under half an hour. The historic steam railway runs from Pickering. Whitby and York are both about an hour's drive.
