Blue Texel
Blue Texel is a shepherd's hut on our working farm in Burton Fleming. It's just for two people. There's one bedroom and a separate shower room.
It’s got a wood burning stove so it’s cosy. Outside, there's a private patio area with a barbecue and a hot tub.
We've also got a separate building called the Lambing Shed. It’s a shared kitchen and dining room for guests in the huts. It's got proper cooking equipment, including an outdoor pizza oven. You can cook a full breakfast in there if you want.
The village pub is about a five minute walk. We have a small farm shop on site for essentials.
You're about five miles from the coast at Filey and Bridlington. Scarborough is a short drive north. The North York Moors National Park is about half an hour away for walking. York is roughly 45 minutes to the west.
In terms of practical things, bedding and towels are included. There's parking right by the hut. There's WiFi. It is a farm, so you'll see animals and hear the usual farm noises.
