Byre Cottage
Byre Cottage is a detached cottage in a little courtyard in Fowey. Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You have a parking space right outside. Inside, it's open plan downstairs with a kitchen at one end and the living area at the other. There's a conservatory off the back you can eat in. The stairs go up from the living room.
One bedroom has a king size bed and stone walls. The other has bunk beds, which are fine for kids but might be tight for two adults. The bathroom has a decent shower.
Outside, there's a small private garden with a bit of lawn.
Fowey town centre is a short walk down the hill. It's a proper harbour town, so there are lots of places to eat and independent shops. The estuary is right there for walks. For a bigger beach, it's a few minutes' drive to Polkerris.
You're in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so the walking is good. The South West Coast Path is on the doorstep. If you're interested in the local history, the National Trust looks after quite a few properties nearby.
Facilities: there's on site parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
