Troy Court
Troy Court is in Fowey. It's a townhouse and it sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main thing about it is the view. You look out over the estuary and the hills on the other side. The living room has a balcony, and one of the bedrooms has one too. The third bedroom has doors that open onto a small patio.
You enter from street level, but the kitchen and dining area are on the top floor. It's well set up for cooking. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Fowey itself is right there. It's a proper Cornish harbour town with narrow streets, some shops, cafes, and a few pubs. It gets busy in summer. The regatta in August is a big deal, with boats everywhere and fireworks.
A short walk down the hill is Readymoney Cove. It's a small, sheltered beach. Good for a paddle. For a longer beach, Polkerris is about a ten minute drive. It has a beach cafe.
You're on the South West Coast Path here. The walk to Polridmouth Cove is good. In the other direction, towards Polperro, it gets quite steep. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline around here.
There's on-site parking for one car. That's important in Fowey as parking can be tight. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
Further afield, the Eden Project is about a 25 minute drive. Charlestown, with its old tall ships, is about 20 minutes. Looe is maybe half an hour.
