Lily's Cottage

Lily's Cottage is in Wroxham, which is on the River Bure. It's one of a small row of cottages built for holidays. You have your own bit at the back, a decked area that's fenced in. It looks out over a private mooring basin.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern inside, open plan. Everything works and it's clean.

The front of the cottage faces the river. There are private moorings right there, so you'll see boats coming and going. You can fish from the doorstep if that's your thing, but you do need a licence.

Wroxham is the main spot for the Broads. You can hire a day boat or go on a trip from right there in the village. There are shops, a couple of pubs, and cafes all within a ten minute walk. The train station is handy too. You could manage without a car if you wanted.

Norwich is about twenty minutes by car or train. It's a proper city with a cathedral, shops, and the castle museum. The coast at Sea Palling or Happisburgh is about half an hour's drive. It's a different sort of beach up here, long and sandy.

For a day out with kids, BeWILDerwood near Horning is about ten minutes away. It's an adventure park in the trees. Wroxham Barns is also close, they have crafts and farm animals.

What's here: WiFi, TV, parking for one car. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
