This is Basil, unit E4325. It’s a single-storey barn conversion near Potter Heigham in Norfolk. It sleeps two people in one bedroom.
The barn is one of a small group set back from a country lane. Yours is the thatched one. You get your own patio area that looks out over fields.
Inside, it’s open plan. The living, kitchen and dining area is all one room. There’s one bathroom with a shower. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s well-equipped and comfortable. Everything is on the ground floor, so no stairs.
You can bring up to two dogs. There’s a shared play area for children on site. Facilities include a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
The local village, Ludham, is about a mile away. It’s got a couple of pubs and some shops. Potter Heigham is four miles, where you can hire boats for the Broads. For a bigger trip out, Wroxham is about a twenty minute drive. They’ve got boat trips, that large department store, and the Bure Valley Railway starts there.
You’re right in the middle of the Norfolk Broads. It’s very flat, so it’s ideal for cycling and walking. How Hill Nature Reserve is nearby if you like birdwatching. There’s a fishing lake about a five minute walk from the barn.
If you want the beach, Sea Palling is about fifteen minutes by car. Great Yarmouth is roughly half an hour away for the pier and Pleasure Beach theme park.
