The Barn
The Barn is in Cess, which is a small place near Martham in Norfolk. It's a single-storey converted barn, so it's all on one level apart from the mezzanine bedroom. It's detached and you've got your own garden. It's enclosed, which is good if you have a dog.
It sleeps three. There's one proper bedroom up on the mezzanine, with a double bed. Downstairs, the sofa turns into a single bed if you need it. There's one bathroom on the ground floor, which has both a bath and a shower.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's been done to a high standard. It's clean and everything works. It's not a huge place, but it's comfortable.
Martham village is about a ten minute walk. There's a village shop and a pub there. The river Thurne is close by for a stroll. If you want to get out on the Broads, Potter Heigham is a few minutes' drive for boat hire. Broads Authority has all the information for trips and maps.
The coast is about a fifteen minute drive. Winterton-on-Sea beach is good, and parts of it are dog friendly. You can sometimes see seals there. Great Yarmouth is further, maybe twenty-five minutes. That's for the classic seaside experience, with amusements and a long beach.
Norwich is about forty minutes by car if you want a city day. The castle and shopping are the main draws. National Trust Norfolk has details for places like Blickling Estate, which is a bit closer.
What's here: there's a washing machine, wifi, a smart TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a barbecue and bike storage if you need it.
