Granary Cottage
Granary Cottage is over at Keld Head Farm, just outside Pickering. It's one of a few cottages set around a shared courtyard. There's a big lawned garden at the back for everyone to use.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one double and one with twin beds. One bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living area has a stone fireplace and exposed beams, so it's got that old farm building feel. The stairs are a bit steep, as you'd expect.
The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot if you need one. There's parking right outside.
You can walk into Pickering, it takes about 15 minutes. There's a shop and pubs there. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway starts in the town. The castle is worth a look too.
The edge of the North York Moors National Park is about ten minutes away by car. The coast at Whitby or Scarborough is about 40 minutes' drive. York is also within 40 minutes.
For kids, there's a play area in the shared garden, along with football nets and some outdoor games. It's all enclosed.
