Beckbridge House is on a main road in the middle of Pickering. It's a three-storey townhouse, so it's tall and thin.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is handy. One is downstairs, two are upstairs. The main bedroom has its own shower. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The kitchen is small but has everything you'd need, dishwasher, washing machine, that sort of thing. The living room is upstairs on the first floor, which gives you a view over the street. There's a wood burner. The garden is small and is next to Pickering Beck, which is the stream that runs through town. It's a nice spot to sit.
Being in the centre, you're a very short walk to the shops, cafes, and pubs. There's a Co-op for groceries. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway station is about a five-minute walk. You can get the steam train to Goathland or all the way to Whitby.
For days out, the North York Moors start right on the edge of town. Dalby Forest is about ten minutes' drive for walking and cycling. The coast at Whitby is about half an hour. York is about 45 minutes. Flamingo Land is just outside Malton, maybe 15 minutes away.
In terms of what's there: all bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the driveway. WiFi. No pets, sorry.
