Ewe Lodge
Ewe Lodge is a shepherd's hut, sat on its own in a field just outside Kirby Misperton. It's one of two, so there's another hut not far away, but you've got your own space. It sleeps two.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's got everything you need. There's a double bed, a sofa, and a TV in the one room. The kitchen area is small but works: there's an electric hob, a microwave, and a Belfast sink. The shower room is separate. The whole thing is wood inside. It's warm.
Outside, there's a private deck with a hot tub. You look out over the field. It's quiet.
You can walk to the village in about ten minutes. There's a pub there that does food. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Pickering, which is about ten minutes away.
Flamingo Land is right next door. You can hear it sometimes, but not loudly. It's handy if you've got tickets.
For getting out, Dalby Forest is about fifteen minutes' drive. Good for walking or mountain biking. The North York Moors are the same way. The steam railway in Pickering goes to Whitby, which is a proper day out. York is about half an hour away if you want cathedrals and history. Malton's good for food shops and markets, that's about twenty minutes.
You can bring one dog. There's parking right by the hut. Bedding and towels are included, and there's wifi. The hut is all on one level, so no steps inside.
