Waterfoot Lodge (W09)
Waterfoot Lodge is W09 at Brickyard Lakes, near Amotherby. It's one of the lakeside lodges there. It's detached, so no one's on the other side of your walls.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. Everything's on one level, which is handy.
The main room has a kitchen area, a table, and a sofa. The French doors open onto a private deck that's fenced in. You look right out over the lake. They light the fountains at night, which is quite nice.
There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. You can bring one dog. Parking is right outside.
Amotherby village is walking distance. There's a shop and a Chinese restaurant. For a bigger shop, Malton is about ten minutes by car.
Castle Howard is very close, maybe five minutes' drive. York is about half an hour away. The North York Moors National Park is on the doorstep for walking. You can drive to the coast at Scarborough or Filey in under an hour.
The site is quiet. It's good if you like fishing, or just sitting watching the water.
