Station View
Station View is one of the apartments above the shops on the main road into Pickering. It’s right in the middle of town. That means you can walk to everything, but you will hear some traffic during the day.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two shower rooms. It's been done up recently, so it feels fresh. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main thing is the roof terrace. It's private, it's got a cover over the hot tub, and there's a sofa and a gas barbecue out there. You can see the steam railway station from the living room and one of the bedrooms. The train goes by a few times a day. It's a nice sight, but you'll hear the whistle.
Pickering itself is a proper market town. There's a good butcher, a Co-op, and plenty of pubs and cafes. There's a nice cafe right next door. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway station is just across the road if you fancy a trip to Grosmont or Whitby.
For days out, you're well placed. Dalby Forest is about 15 minutes drive for walking and cycling. The coast at Scarborough or Whitby is roughly half an hour. York is about 45 minutes. Flamingo Land is just down the road. The North York Moors National Park is right on the doorstep.
What's here: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. You can bring one dog. There's parking for one car on the street out the front, which is first come, first served.
