Rose Croft
Rose Croft is on a quiet road in Pickering. It's a detached house with a big walled garden. There's a raised deck and an orchard with fruit trees you can pick from when they're in season.
The house sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. Parts of it are over two hundred years old. Because of that, the ground floor has a few steps and uneven floors between rooms. It's just the way the old bits and newer extensions join up. The stairs are fine.
You've got a decent sized lounge with a woodburner and a TV. The kitchen has a table, and there's a separate dining room too. There's a utility room with a washing machine and an extra toilet.
There's a small play park right across the road. It's handy if you've got kids.
Pickering town centre is about a ten minute walk. There are pubs, shops, cafes and the steam railway station. The trains go through the moors to Whitby. North York Moors National Park is right on the doorstep for walking. National Trust has some properties nearby too.
Flamingo Land is less than ten minutes away by car. The coast is about half an hour's drive. You've got Scarborough, Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay and Filey all along there.
