Garden Cottage
Garden Cottage is in Thornton le Dale. It's a one bedroom place that sleeps two. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
It's all on one level. The living space is open plan, so it's compact, but everything's there. There's a kingsize bed in the bedroom and a walk-in shower in the bathroom. The kitchenette is small, but it has a one-ring hob, a microwave, an air fryer, and a small fridge. Good for basic meals. There's a dining table inside and your own patio outside.
The cottage is on the edge of the village. It's about a ten minute walk to the centre. There are two pubs, a bakery, a shop, and a fish and chip shop there. Your garden is part of a larger lawned garden, so it's very green and private.
For walks, you're about ten minutes from the edge of Dalby Forest. You can hire bikes in the village or at the forest itself.
By car, you're well placed. Pickering is a few minutes away, where you can get the North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam train. The coast at Scarborough or Whitby is about half an hour's drive. York is around 45 minutes. Flamingo Land theme park is about 15 minutes away.
In terms of what's here, you've got your own patio with a BBQ, parking right outside, WiFi, a TV, and bike storage. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
