Warrington House

Warrington House is in Thornton le Dale, right on the Beck. It's a big stone house in the middle of the village. It's the taller one of the two houses there, with the cottage next door.

It sleeps nine in four bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy with a big group. The stairs are a fairly standard staircase. On the top floor, one of the bedrooms has a sofa bed in it, which is useful for flexibility.

Downstairs, the kitchen is modern and looks out over the back patio. The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs or kids. There's a utility room with a Belfast sink and a cloakroom toilet on the ground floor.

In the village, there are a couple of pubs, a few cafes, and a chocolate shop. Everything is a two-minute walk. You can hear the stream from the house.

For getting out, you're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Good walking straight from the door. Ravenscar and Robin Hood's Bay on the coast are about a half hour drive. Scarborough is 12 miles one way, and York is about 25 miles the other.

The house is rated 4 Star. It's got things like a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.

If you're planning trips, the National Trust for York and North Yorkshire has a lot of local property information.
