Grove Cottage
Grove Cottage is in Newchurch, which is a small village inland on the Isle of Wight. It's a detached house, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.
It sleeps ten people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is a ground floor wet room. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and in good order. It's a practical sort of place for a big group.
There's a pub and a restaurant about a quarter of a mile away. The local shop is a mile away in Sandown. Sandown itself is about a five minute drive. It's a classic seaside town with a pier, amusements, and places to eat. Shanklin is a similar distance, with its chine and thatched cottages.
The house is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You get red squirrels in the trees here. For days out, Amazon World and Robin Hill are very close. The Garlic Farm and Arreton Barns are nearby too. Godshill, with its model village, is a short drive.
You're about ten minutes from the south coast beaches like Sandown and Shanklin. The coastal path is good for walking. If you want to explore further, National Trust Isle of Wight properties like Osborne House are within a thirty minute drive.
Facilities: it has the things you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. They've got a cot and a highchair if required. You can bring up to two dogs.
