This is Buckingham Cottage on the Isle of Wight. It's in Ventnor, up on a quiet road. It's end of terrace, built in the 1800s.
It sleeps five. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not brand new.
The main thing is the view. You can see the sea from the back garden, the patio, and the little balcony. The garden is lawned and it's enclosed, so it's safe for dogs or kids.
The beach is a short walk downhill. There's a shop about 500 yards away and a pub a bit closer. Both are handy.
If you like walking, the coastal path is right there. The Ventnor Botanical Garden is very close. St Catherine's Lighthouse isn't far for a walk either. You can drive to Shanklin Chine or Sandown with the beach and zoo in about twenty minutes.
Inside, it's got a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. There's WiFi and a TV. The kitchen has a washing machine. We provide all the bedding. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
It's a good spot for seeing the whole island. You can get to most places in under half an hour.
