This place is Inglewood Retreat in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. It's a detached house built upside-down, so the living area is upstairs to get the view.
It sleeps seven in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite. You can bring one dog.
Upstairs is all open plan: kitchen, dining, and living area. The big bi-fold doors open onto a balcony that looks out over the garden and towards the sea. You can sit out there. The garden at the back is lawned, but it slopes quite a bit.
Downstairs are the bedrooms and the main bathroom. The parking is on the road at the front of the house.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. We provide bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. We've also got a cot and highchair if you need them.
You can walk down to Steephill Cove from the house. It’s a nice spot, not a big commercial beach. Ventnor town and the beach are about a fifteen-minute walk.
For walking, the coastal path is right there. The National Trust looks after a lot of it. The Botanical Gardens are in Ventnor. About half an hour's drive gets you to The Needles or places like Godshill.
