The Lodge
The Lodge is in Shanklin, about a 25 minute walk from the seafront and the old village. It's a wing of our house, semi-detached really, in a quiet cul-de-sac. You get it to yourselves.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one en-suite shower room. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and spacious, not luxurious. The stairs inside are there, but they're steep and narrow. We've put a stairgate at the top.
You've got a parking space right outside. There's a small enclosed garden at the back, just a patio really. It's secure for dogs.
We accept up to two pets. There's a local pub you can walk to. The beach is the main draw, it’s a decent walk or a very short drive.
If you like walking, the coastal path is right there. For a different day out, National Trust Isle of Wight has several properties like Ventnor Botanic Garden or The Needles. You can drive to most places on the island within half an hour.
Inside there's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot if you need one.
