The Lodge
The Lodge is on the edge of Shanklin, in a quiet cul-de-sac. It's a wing of our house, but it's completely separate. You're not sharing anything. It's very spacious for two people.
It's got one bedroom and an en-suite shower room. The rating is 3 Star. It's clean and well-equipped, but not luxury. There's a small, enclosed garden out the back which is handy if you've got a dog. We allow up to two dogs.
You can walk into Shanklin Old Village and to the beach in about 25 minutes. There's a local pub not far away and a golf course nearby. If you're coming by train, the station is walkable and we've got space to store bikes.
There's one dedicated parking space right outside. Inside, you've got a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and there's a stairgate.
For days out, you're in a good spot for the south east coast. Ventnor is about a 15 minute drive. The needles and Alum Bay are about 40 minutes. Osborne House is roughly half an hour away. You can get to most places on the island within an hour.
