Woodland View is in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. It's a modern house, end of a row of three, on what used to be a manor estate. You're looking out over some shared gardens, which are nice and open.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is handy. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and has what you need. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or a dog, but we don't take pets, sorry.
You're about a ten minute walk from Old Shanklin village. It's got the thatched pubs and bits. The beach is another five minutes from there. There's a local shop and a pub about a quarter of a mile away.
It's good for walking. The coastal path is right there. You've got the duck pond and a play area just up the road, about 150 yards.
Facilities are all there: wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Parking is on site.
For a day out, Ventnor is a short drive down the coast. Osborne House is about half an hour away, near East Cowes. The Needles and Alum Bay are probably 40 minutes if the traffic's okay.
