Woodland View
Woodland View is in Shanklin. It's a modern house, end of a row of three, on what used to be a manor house estate. You look out over some shared gardens.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well kept. The layout is straightforward.
You can walk into Old Shanklin in about ten minutes. That's the part with the thatched roofs, some pubs and shops. The beach is another five minutes from there. There's a church and a duck pond about 150 yards away, and a play area for kids.
Facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. There's a patio and an enclosed garden. Parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. They've even put in hair straighteners.
For getting about, the coastal path is right there for walking. You've got the usual beach things close by. If you want to drive, you can get to most places on the island within half an hour or so.
