The Grain Store is a cottage converted from an old farm building on the Isle of Wight. It's near Wroxall village. The farm is still a working stables, so you'll see horses in the fields around you. You get there down a farm track, which is a bit rough but fine for normal cars.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. One's a double, the other has two singles. The bathroom is downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's been done to a good standard.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen, dining, sitting area. There are French doors out to your own enclosed garden at the back. It's a practical space.
The location is quiet. You're about three miles north of Ventnor, which is the nearest proper seaside town. It's good for walking straight from the door. The area is an Area of Natural Beauty.
If you're cycling, the island is good for it. There's secure bike storage here. The Needles are a ride away, or you can drive.
Ventnor has a beach, some shops, and places to eat. It's built on a steep hill. Further along the coast, there's St Catherine's Lighthouse. The Carisbrooke Castle is about a twenty minute drive. Osborne House is perhaps half an hour away, towards East Cowes.
Facilities: there's parking, wifi, a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The property is on one level from the entrance, but there is one internal step. It has an electric vehicle charger.
You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed, but check your dog respects the boundaries as it's not totally escape-proof.
