This is Robin. It's a yurt, set up for glamping, in a field near Newport. It sleeps five. That's one bedroom plus a sofa bed in the main space. There's one en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
It's been recently done up, so everything works. There's a kitchenette with the basics, a wood-burning stove that keeps the place warm, and your own enclosed garden area with a BBQ. The yurt is on a quiet farm, so you'll see birds and maybe the odd red squirrel. You can hear an owl at night sometimes. There's a play area for children on the site, so you'll hear kids playing during the day, but it's not a place for loud groups.
Newport is five minutes drive for shops and supermarkets. The coast is about fifteen minutes by car. The National Trust has a few places on the island like The Needles and Mottistone. The Visit Isle of Wight site is good for planning.
Facilities wise: all bedding is included, there's parking right next to the yurt, and a highchair if you need one. No pets. You can book it with another yurt called Kingfisher if you're a bigger group.
