West Barns - Fernhill Farm
This is West Barns at Fernhill Farm. It's two big holiday barns on our farm here in Wootton. Peaceful spot, you're just surrounded by fields. They're called Ash Barn and Willow Barn. Ash sleeps four, Willow sleeps six, so together they take ten. Good for a big family group or a few friends.
They've been done up inside. Modern, clean. They kept the beams and high ceilings from when it was a proper barn. Willow Barn has a wood burner, which is nice in the winter. Both have those open-plan kitchen and living areas. Makes it easy when there's a crowd.
Each barn has its own bit of patio out the back, fenced in. There's a shared lawn as well, with some picnic benches. Handy if kids want to run around.
You're five minutes from Wootton Bridge village. There's a shop, a couple of pubs. There's a hotel with a spa nearby too, they do a discount on treatments if that's your thing. Ryde's about ten minutes in the car. That's the main town on this side, has a long sandy beach and all the shops and cafes.
For walking, you can get to the Coastal Path. Osborne House is close, that's the big one. The needles and Freshwater Bay are probably half an hour's drive. Cowes is about twenty minutes.
In terms of stuff here: each barn has its own parking space, WiFi, a washing machine and dishwasher. We can put a cot and highchair in for you. And we take dogs, up to four across the two barns.
