Coastguard Cottage
Coastguard Cottage is in Ryde, on the Isle of Wight. It's right on the Esplanade, so you just cross the road to be on the beach. It looks out over the Solent towards Portsmouth.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a terrace cottage, so the garden is a shared space at the front.
Ryde itself has everything you need. Shops, cafes, a few pubs. The beach is sandy and long, good for a walk. There's a swimming pool in town, and tennis courts along the front.
The Isle of Wight is easy to get around. Osborne House is about fifteen minutes by car. Osborne House is worth a visit. The Needles are about half an hour's drive. For a day out, Carisbrooke Castle is also within half an hour. You can get walking maps from the Isle of Wight Council site.
Inside, there's a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
