No.1 The Two Bedroom is in Portsmouth's Gunwharf Quays. It's an apartment on the upper floors of a tall building, the one they call the Lipstick building. The views from up there are good, out over the harbour and the Solent.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. Everything's on one level. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living area is open plan, so it's light. It has underfloor heating.
You're right in the middle of things. There's a shop, a pub, and restaurants about 180 yards away. The whole Gunwharf Quays shopping outlet is on your doorstep. For the main historic sights, like HMS Victory and the Mary Rose, you'll want the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The Spinnaker Tower is there too, for the views.
Southsea seafront and the common are a short drive or a decent walk away. The beach is about two and a half miles.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a bike store if you bring cycles. Parking is on site. No pets, I'm afraid.
