The main thing is the balcony. You get a view over the water. It's good for a morning coffee or watching the boats. The building is tall, so you're up high.
You're right above the Gunwharf Quays shopping outlet. Shops, restaurants, a cinema, it's all there. It's busy, but convenient. There's a pub about a minute's walk away. The beach at Southsea is a couple of miles if you want sand.
For history, the Historic Dockyard is a five-minute walk. You can see HMS Victory and the Mary Rose. The Spinnaker Tower is here too, for the view. Southsea Castle and the D-Day Museum are close. The train station is nearby, with trains to London in about an hour and a half.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. You can store bikes. Parking is on site. No pets, I'm afraid.
