No.1 The Studio is a flat on Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, in a tall building some people call the Lipstick building. It's for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The living area is all open plan. It feels quite light and spacious. There's underfloor heating, which is good. You can park on site.
The location is the main thing. You're right on the waterfront. The Gunwharf Quays shopping centre, with all its shops, bars and restaurants, is literally on your doorstep, about 180 yards away. There's a cinema and a bowling alley there too. The train station for getting into London is a short walk.
Portsmouth Harbour is right there if you're interested in boats or want to get out on the water. The Historic Dockyard is close, where you can see HMS Victory and the Mary Rose. The Spinnaker Tower is nearby if you want the view from the top. The beach at Southsea is a couple of miles away.
In the flat there's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's also a cot if you need it, and a store for bikes.
