The One Bedroom
The One Bedroom is in Portsmouth. It's an apartment up in Number One Gunwharf Quays, that tall building people call the Lipstick. You're high up, so you get the views over the harbour and the coast.
It's a four star place, which means it's modern and well kept, not old-fashioned. It sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. Everything's on one level. There's underfloor heating, which is good when it's cold. It's open plan, so the living space feels quite airy.
You're right in the middle of things at Gunwharf Quays. The shops, cafes, cinemas and restaurants are all right there on your doorstep, about a three minute walk from the building entrance. For a proper day out, the Historic Dockyard is a short walk away. You can see HMS Victory and the Mary Rose. Southsea beach and castle are about two and a half miles along the front.
Facilities are straightforward. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. There's also bike storage if you bring cycles.
