No.1 The Studio is in Portsmouth Harbour. It's on the top floor of the Lipstick building, the tall one at Gunwharf Quays. The view is good: you can see over the harbour and the coast from the windows.
It's a one bedroom flat that sleeps two. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything is on one level. The living area is open plan. It has underfloor heating.
You're right in the middle of everything. The flat is above the Gunwharf Quays shopping outlet. There are cafes, restaurants, and a cinema practically underneath you. It can be busy, especially at weekends. The view from the Spinnaker Tower is worth doing once.
For history, the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is a short walk. You can see HMS Victory and the Mary Rose there. Southsea seafront and the common are about two miles away if you want a walk by the sea.

Portsmouth Harbour train station is close. You can get to London in about an hour and a half if you want a day trip.
