The One Bedroom
The One Bedroom is in that tall, red building on the Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth. You might have seen it. They call it the Lipstick building. It's an apartment on one of the upper floors.
It's a one-bedroom flat, so it sleeps two. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and modern. Everything is on one level, which is handy. The living area is open plan and quite light. There's underfloor heating.
You're right on the waterfront. The view from the windows is good, you can see out over the harbour and the Solent. You get a parking space with it.
Honestly, the location is the main thing. You walk out the door and you're in the middle of Gunwharf Quays. There are shops, cafes, restaurants, a cinema. It's all right there. The pub is about 180 yards away. The Historic Dockyard, with HMS Victory and the Mary Rose, is a short walk along the harbour. The station is close too, if you wanted to get a train into London.
It's about two and a half miles to the beach at Southsea. The seafront is nice for a walk.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a bike store if you bring bicycles. No pets, I'm afraid.
