The One Bedroom
The One Bedroom is an apartment in No1 Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth. That's the tall, curved building they call the Lipstick building. It's a one-bed flat, sleeps two.
It's on one level, which is handy. There's underfloor heating. It's clean and modern, got a 4 Star rating. The living space is open plan, so it's light. You get WiFi and a TV. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Parking is on site.
The view is the main thing. You're up high, so you can see right over the harbour and the Solent. It's a good spot for watching the boats.
You're right in the middle of Gunwharf Quays. There's a shopping centre, restaurants, bars, a cinema, all about a minute's walk from the front door. The pub is just round the corner. The Spinnaker Tower is there too, if you want to go even higher for the view.
The Historic Dockyard is a short walk away. That's where HMS Victory and the Mary Rose are. Southsea seafront and the common are about a 20 minute walk. The beach there is shingle. The train station is close if you want to go into London.
