The Lodge
The Lodge is in Portsmouth. It's a detached bungalow, so it's all on one level. You have your own wraparound garden that's fully enclosed. It gets the sun in the evening.
It sleeps six. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's modern and well kept. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and a daybed that pulls out into a double, so it can sleep four. The second bedroom is a kingsize. One bathroom has a bath, the other has a shower.
The living area is open plan. The kitchen has everything you'd need, including a dishwasher. There's a washing machine too. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. Parking is on the drive.
You're about five miles from the seafront at Southsea. It's got the common, a funfair, and a hovercraft that goes over to the Isle of Wight. The Historic Dockyard is there with HMS Victory and the Mary Rose. Southsea Castle and the D-Day Museum are worth a visit. The National Trust looks after some of the forts around the harbour.
Gunwharf Quays is a 15-minute drive. It's shopping and restaurants, and the Spinnaker Tower for the view.
