This is No.1, a one-bedroom flat with a balcony. It's in Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, the tall red building some people call the Lipstick. The view from the balcony is the main thing. You look out over the harbour and the Solent.
It's a modern apartment, all on one level. Sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. The living area is open plan, so it feels quite spacious. It has underfloor heating, which is good in winter.
You're right in the middle of everything here. The Gunwharf Quays shopping outlets, restaurants, bars, and a cinema are literally on your doorstep. The flat has its own parking space, which is a plus given the location.
For things to do, the Historic Dockyard is a short walk. That's where HMS Victory and the Mary Rose are. The Spinnaker Tower is right there too, for the views. Southsea seafront and the common are about a 15-minute walk away along the water.
In terms of facilities, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage if you bring cycles. We can provide a travel cot if needed.
