No.1 is a one bedroom flat in Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth. It's on the top floor of that tall building they call the Lipstick.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's on one level, with underfloor heating. The main thing is the balcony. You get a proper view over the harbour and the Solent from up there.
The flat is open plan. There's a TV, WiFi, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Parking is on site, and there's bike storage.
You're right in Gunwharf Quays itself. Shops, restaurants, pubs, a cinema, it's all literally downstairs. The nearest pub is about a minute's walk. The beach at Southsea is a couple of miles along the coast.
The Historic Dockyard is a short walk away. You can see HMS Victory and the Mary Rose there. The Spinnaker Tower is right there too, you can go up it. Portsmouth Harbour train station is close, you can get to London in about an hour and a half.
If you drive, the South Downs are about half an hour away for walking. The Meon Valley trail is good for bikes. Chichester and its harbour are about 40 minutes west.
