No.1 The One Bedroom Balcony View
No.1 The Balcony View is a one-bedroom apartment in Portsmouth. It's on the top floor of the building they call The Lipstick, at Gunwharf Quays. You get a decent view out over the harbour from the balcony.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well looked after. Everything's on one level, with underfloor heating. It sleeps two. There's one bathroom. It's open plan, so the living, kitchen and dining area are all together. It feels light.
You're right in the middle of things here. The Gunwharf Quays shops, restaurants, and cinema are literally downstairs. The train station for trips to London is about a five minute walk. If you're driving, there's on-site parking.
For the sights, the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is a ten minute walk. That's where the Victory and the Mary Rose are. Southsea seafront and the beach are a bit further, maybe a half hour walk or a short drive.
The apartment has a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it, and storage for bikes. No pets, I'm afraid.
