The Historic Dockyard is a 15-minute walk. That's where the HMS Victory and the Mary Rose are. Southsea seafront and the common are about two and a half miles away for the beach.
Portsmouth Harbour station is a short walk. Trains to London are frequent and take about an hour and a half.
