This is Little Dover Cottage. It's in Ryde on the Isle of Wight. A detached place, so no neighbours through the wall.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The ceilings upstairs are vaulted, so it feels quite roomy up there. There's a big stone wall in the living area, which is part of the original build.
You're about a quarter of a mile from the beach at Ryde. The promenade is a few minutes' walk. There's tennis, a bowling alley, a swimming pool, and a little funfair along there. The view from the beach looks out over the Solent to Portsmouth. You can see the Spinnaker Tower and watch the ships go by.
There's a pub and a restaurant about 170 yards away. The town centre with shops is half a mile.
The place has WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. There's parking on site. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. You can bring two pets. Bedding and towels are included.
If you want to explore the island, Osborne House is about ten miles away. The National Trust looks after several spots, including the Needles Old Battery. Carisbrooke Castle is a 20-minute drive. For a big day out, Blackgang Chine is about 40 minutes by car.
