Bodwen Corner Cottage is in Wootton, which is just inland from the Solent coast on the Isle of Wight. It's a ground-floor apartment in a big Victorian house. The main thing is the garden, which is about an acre and a half of the estate's nine acres. It's quiet and private.
The place sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one of them is an en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's all on the ground floor which is good for accessibility, and there's a walk-in shower in one bathroom.
The living room is cosy. The kitchen-diner is a good size and has doors straight out to the patio. You might see red squirrels in the garden. There's an outside tap for washing boots or bikes. For kids, there's a separate outside room called 'The Drey' with some games and craft things in it.
You're about a ten-minute walk from the coast at Wootton Creek. The nearest shop and pub are a mile away in Wootton village. Ryde is four miles. That's where you'll find a big sandy beach, shops, and places to eat.
For days out, Osborne House is a must if you like history. The Isle of Wight Steam Railway at Havenstreet is good fun. If you've got children, Robin Hill Country Park or Amazon World are popular. The whole island is great for walking and cycling.
In terms of what's there: WiFi, TV, a dishwasher, washing machine, barbecue, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can have a cot and highchair. No pets.
