Kingfisher is a yurt on a farm just outside Newport. It's a glamping site, so you're in a big, furnished tent, but it's got proper beds and an en-suite bathroom. It sleeps five in one open-plan room, so it's a family space rather than private bedrooms.
The yurt has a wood-burning stove and a kitchenette for making simple meals. There's a barbecue outside. It's all on one level, and you've got your own enclosed garden area. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Bedding is included, and there's parking right there.
You're on a farm, so it's quiet. You'll see pheasants around, and you might hear an owl at night. The central heating keeps it warm. It's not a place for late-night noise, it's more of a peaceful spot.
Newport is about five minutes away by car for shops and things. The coast is a short drive. There's a kids' play area on site. We can provide a highchair.
This yurt is one of three on the same site. You can book it with the others, Woodpecker and Robin, if you're a bigger group.
For things to do, the National Trust looks after several places on the island. The whole coastline is good for walking.
