This is Kingfisher. It's a yurt, on a farm just outside Newport on the Isle of Wight. It sleeps five in one room. There's one bathroom, which is ensuite. It's got a 3 Star rating.
The yurt has been done up recently. It's got proper beds, a wood burner, and a small kitchen area. There's an enclosed garden area with a barbecue. The site's got a kids' play area. You'll need to bring your own towels.
It's on a working farm, so it's peaceful but not silent. You'll hear animals, and sometimes kids from the other yurts playing. You'll see a lot of birds. We've had red squirrels around too. Because it's quiet, it's not really set up for loud groups.
Newport is five minutes away by car. That's where the big supermarkets are. The coast is about a fifteen minute drive. The island's good for walking and cycling. The National Trust has a few properties here if you want a day out.
There are two other yurts on the same site, Woodpecker and Robin. You can book them together if you're a bigger group.
Facilities: parking right there, beds made up for you, wood burner, BBQ, highchair available. No pets.
