Shiloh Cottage is in Littletown on the Isle of Wight. It's on our farm, in the courtyard. The place sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating.
The layout is upside down. You live upstairs to get the view. The living room has doors out to a small balcony. You can see fields and, if you look carefully, a bit of the Solent water. The Isle of Wight Steam Railway runs through the fields. You can watch it go by from upstairs.
Downstairs, there's a patio with a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
The stairs inside are a bit steep. They're not spiral, but they are cottage stairs and they're open on one side. Just so you know.
You can walk straight from the cottage down to Wootton Creek. It takes about twenty minutes. There's a pub there. The walking trails also go to Havenstreet village, where you can get the steam train. The train website is useful: Isle of Wight Steam Railway.
Wootton Bridge has a small shop and a couple more places to eat. It's five minutes in the car. Ryde is about ten minutes away. That's the big town with a long sandy beach, shops, and restaurants. Their carnival in August is a proper event.
Newport is fifteen minutes inland for bigger supermarkets. Cowes is about twenty minutes away if you're into the sailing. The coastal path is all around, really. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coast here.
What's here: parking right outside, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. The garden bit is just the patio. No pets, sorry.
