This is Hill Top Cottage. It's out near Newport, up on the hill. It's a converted barn, so it's quite new inside. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can have up to two. There's a table and chairs out there, and a barbecue. The view is over fields, because of the hill.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. It's modern and clean. Everything's on one level, which some people find easier.
It's quiet where it is, but you're not far from things. Newport is a short drive for shops. There's a pub about a mile away. The beach is a bit further, maybe 20 minutes by car.
You can walk or cycle straight from the door on the bridle paths. The bus stop for Newport and Ryde is a five minute walk. If you drive, you can get to most places on the island in under half an hour. Carisbrooke Castle is close. Osborne House is about a 15 minute drive. The Needles and Alum Bay are maybe 25 minutes.
