Fair Isle Holiday Cottages - Hill Top Cottage
Hill Top Cottage is one of two cottages converted from a barn on our land. It's up a farm track, so it's quiet. You get a decent view over the fields from the garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and comfortable. It's all on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about.
The garden is enclosed, which is useful if you're bringing dogs. There's a table, chairs, and a barbecue out there. Inside, it's open plan with a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area together. It was done up recently so everything's modern and works.
You're about a mile from the main road into Newport. That's where the nearest shop and a pub are. The bus stop for Newport and Ryde is about five minutes walk down the track.
For getting out, you can walk or cycle straight from the cottage onto the bridle paths. They'll take you towards Newport or Arreton. If you drive, you're pretty central. Carisbrooke Castle is about ten minutes away. Osborne House is maybe twenty. The south coast, like Ventnor, is about twenty-five minutes.
The beach at Ryde is about seven miles. For a bigger sandy beach, you'd head to the west side, like Freshwater Bay, which is about half an hour.
In terms of stuff here, there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
