This is Fair Isle House. It's over on the Isle of Wight, just outside Newport. It's a detached house, so no neighbours on the other side of a wall.
It sleeps ten people. Five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's the main thing about it really. If you've got a big group, everyone gets their own space. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's kept to a good standard.
The living area is upstairs. They call it reverse level. It means the views are better from the main rooms. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can bring two.
It's set back from the road, with fields around. There are bridle paths straight from the property if you want to walk or cycle into Newport or Arreton. The local shop and pub are about a mile away. The nearest beach is about seven miles, so you'll need to drive.
Because it's central on the island, you can get to most things within half an hour. The Needles and Alum Bay are that way. Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle are close by too. For a walk, Brading Down is a good local spot.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect for a big group. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right there.
