Bella Vista
Bella Vista is a bungalow in Ryde, on the Isle of Wight. It’s on a quiet country lane. The main thing is the garden, it’s very large and gets the sun most of the day. You get a good view across to Quarr Abbey from there.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There’s one bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor. It’s got a 3 Star rating, so it’s clean and comfortable but not overly luxurious.
The garden is mostly lawn. We get ducks wandering over from the field pond sometimes, and you might see herons. There’s a patio area with furniture.
Binstead village is about a mile away. It has a shop and a pub. Ryde town centre is two miles. That’s where you’ll find most of the restaurants, the big supermarket, and the pier for the ferry to Portsmouth. The beach there is long and sandy, with a few cafes.
You can drive to Osborne House in East Cowes in about twenty minutes. Carisbrooke Castle is maybe twenty-five minutes. For walking, the coastal path is easily accessible. The National Trust and Visit Isle of Wight sites are useful for planning.
The facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, and a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. TV is provided. Bedding is included. There is parking on site. We do accept up to two well-behaved dogs.
