Bungalow 4

This is Bungalow 4 at Fort Spinney in Yaverland. It's one of a row of bungalows right by the sea. The beach is basically at the end of the garden, about a hundred yards away.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. Everything's on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing a dog. We allow one well-behaved pet.

The bungalow has a washing machine, wifi, and a smart TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's parking right outside.

Yaverland Beach is sandy and good for swimming. You can see the red cliffs and the white chalk of Culver Cliff from there. If you're into fossils, Dinosaur Isle is just up the road. Sandown is a short, flat walk along the beachfront past the zoo. It's a traditional seaside town with a pier, amusements, and things like crazy golf.

You can walk the whole length of Sandown Bay to Shanklin on the promenade. The area is popular for water sports like paddleboarding and sailing. There's a local pub and restaurant about half a mile away. The nearest shop is a mile in Sandown.

Within about half an hour's drive you can get to places like The Needles at Alum Bay, or Osborne House in East Cowes. The whole island is easy to explore from here.
