This is Bungalow 4 at Fort Spinney in Yaverland. It's a single-storey bungalow, so everything's on the ground floor. It's one of a small group on the site.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. The garden at the back is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing a dog. You can bring one dog.
The beach is the main thing. It's about a hundred yards walk. Yaverland Beach is sandy and good for swimming. You can see the red cliffs and the white chalk of Culver Cliff from there. The Dinosaur Isle museum is nearby if fossils are of interest.
Sandown town is a short, flat walk up the beach. It's a classic seaside place with a pier, amusements, and somewhere to get an ice cream. You pass the zoo on the way, which is known for its big cats.
If you want to walk further, you can follow the seafront all the way from Yaverland to Shanklin. The bay is popular for water sports like paddleboarding and sailing. The site itself is about half a mile from a pub and restaurant. The nearest shop is a mile away in Sandown.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, Wi-Fi, a TV, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside the bungalow.
