Yaverland Beach House is in Sandown, on the Isle of Wight. It's a bungalow, so all on one level. You can see the beach from the front. It's a five minute walk down a path to get onto the sand.
It sleeps five people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. We've got a woodburning stove for winter evenings.
The garden is enclosed, with a patio and a BBQ. There's parking on the drive for one, maybe two cars if you're careful.
Yaverland beach itself is good for walking. It's sandy and long. Dogs are allowed year-round, but we don't take pets at the house, sorry. You can sometimes see seals.
Dinosaur Isle is practically next door if you've got kids interested in that. Sandown town centre and the pier are about a fifteen minute walk along the esplanade. There's a local pub a few minutes away that does food.
Within a half hour drive you can get to a lot. Shanklin Chine is nice for a walk. Ventnor Botanic Garden is interesting and different. The needles at Alum Bay, or Carisbrooke Castle. You can easily drive to Cowes or Ryde.
Facilities are pretty standard: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and a highchair.
