Culver View is an apartment on the first floor of a building called The Adelaide in Shanklin. It sleeps four, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well-equipped and recent.
The main thing is the location. You're across the road from the beach and the path down is easy. You can get from the sofa onto the sand in a couple of minutes, which is handy with kids or if you just want to pop out.
The living area is open plan. There's a balcony that looks out over the sea. You get a good view.
Shanklin itself is that traditional seaside sort of place. Sandy beach, cliffs, parks. It's relaxed.
Within half an hour's drive you can get to the Needles at Alum Bay, or Godshill which is the thatched village with the model village. Ventnor is a bit further along the coast.
The facilities are what you'd expect: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking on site. No pets.
