This is Property 2, a single-storey barn conversion in a small courtyard near Ventnor. It's all on the ground floor, which is handy.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well done and comfortable. You've got parking right there, and a fully enclosed private patio garden with a BBQ.
Inside, it's open plan. You've got the living, dining and kitchen area together. It's got period features, but all the things you'd want are there: a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
The views from here are really good, just straight out over the fields. It's quiet.
Ventnor itself is about five minutes' drive down the hill. The beach there is a mix of sand and shingle. The town has a few good places to eat and some interesting little shops. The Ventnor Botanic Garden is worth a visit if that's your sort of thing.
You're well placed for getting around. Blackgang Chine is nearby. The Carisbrooke Castle and Osborne House are both within about half an hour's drive. The Needles at Alum Bay are about 40 minutes by car.
Coastal walks start very close by. For planning days out, the Visit Isle of Wight site is useful.
